A man was fatally shot early Saturday in Humboldt Park on the Northwest Side.

The 21-year-old was found about 4:35 a.m. in the 2600 block of West Thomas Street with a gunshot wound to the torso, Chicago police said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

He was identified as Niko Davis by the Cook County medical examiner’s office. An autopsy conducted Sunday ruled his death a homicide.

No one is in custody as Area Three detectives investigate.
