A 5-year-old girl was shot Sunday in West Pullman on the Far South Side.

The girl was in an alley about 4:40 p.m. in the 11700 block of South Normal Avenue when someone fired shots, Chicago police said.

She was transported to Roseland Community Hospital, where her condition was stable, police said.

Area Two detectives are investigating.
