A man was wounded in a drive-by shooting in Roseland on the Far South Side Tuesday evening.

The man, 32, was on the sidewalk when a light-colored SUV approached and someone inside opened fire around 5 p.m., Chicago Police said.

The man was shot in his hand and taken to Roseland Hospital where his condition was stabilized, police said.

No one was in custody.
