2 critically wounded while in vehicle in Little Village

Two people were shot and critically wounded while traveling Sunday in Little Village on the West Side.

Just after 1:25 a.m., the victims, 19 and 30, were traveling in the 2700 block of South Drake Avenue when they heard shots and felt pain, Chicago Police said.

The 19-year-old was shot in the leg and the 30-year-old throughout his body, police said.

Both were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where they were initially listed in critical condition, police said.

No one was in custody.
