A 15-year-old was shot driving Monday in Back of the Yards on the South Side.

The teen was driving around 4:10 a.m. in the 1700 block of West 47th Street when someone fired shots, Chicago Police said.

He was shot in the back and was taken to Stroger Hospital where his condition was stabilized, police said.

No one was in custody.
