Man fatally shot while driving on Far South Side

The victim crashed into a house following the shooting and died at the scene.

A man was fatally shot while driving on the Far South Side Monday morning.

Latoine Hull, 46, was driving south in the 13100 block of South Eberhart Avenue when he shot several times around 4:15 a.m., Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

Hull of Brainerd was found unresponsive after his car jumped a curb and crashed into a house, causing minor damage, police said. He died on the scene.

No one was in custody.
