A woman was shot Friday evening in West Pullman on the Far South Side.

The 56-year-old was on the front porch of a residence just before 8 p.m. in the 11500 block of South Prairie Avenue when she was shot in the neck, Chicago Police said.

She was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where her condition was stabilized, police said.

No one was in custody.
