Un hombre murió después de caer a la calle desde la plataforma de la estación de tren CTA de la avenida Western el martes por la noche en el vecindario de Logan Square.

El hombre se subió a un barandal y se cayó luego de pisar el borde exterior de las escaleras en la estación, 1900 N. Western Ave., dijo el portavoz de la Autoridad de Tránsito de Chicago, Brian Steele.

La Policía de Chicago dijo que el hombre, de algunos 30 años, se cayó unos 30 pies a la calle alrededor de las 8:30 p.m.

Fue llevado al Illinois Masonic Medical Center y declarado muerto, dijo la policía.
