Trade deadline past, Wallace still a Bull?

Bulls GM John Paxson has yet to meet the media here at the Berto Center and it is after the 2 p.m. trade deadline. The Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers reportedly were still talking about a deal which would have sent Ben Wallace, Chris Duhon and/or Joe Smith to the Cavs for a package made up of players such as Larry Hughes, Drew Gooden, Donyell Marshall, Ira Newble, Shannon Brown, Devin Brown, and Cedric Simmons. The Bulls likely don’t want Hughes and the two years and $26 million left on his contract. Stay tuned as the teams may have received an extension from the league to finalize a deal.
