WASHINGTON–Turns out that not only Vice President Joe Biden replaced President Obama at a fund-raiser on Monday night: Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius also showed up at the small event.

Obama shelved two fund-raisers he was to headline because of the debt ceiling stalement; last night he gave a speech to the nation urging Republicans to compromise.

Sebelius at the St. Regis Hotel fund-raiser was scooped by Eddie Gehman Kohan at Obamafoodorama.com

From Kohan: “They spoke to about 25 big-ticket donors. DNC Chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FLA) also attended.”
