Alshon Jeffery to undergo scope Wednesday

Bears rookie Alshon Jeffery’s much anticipated return from a broken hand didn’t last long. Jeffery played against the San Francisco 49ers but left the game with a knee injury.

According to a source, Jeffery will undergo a scope Wednesday and the hope is he’ll be sidelined two to four weeks. The extent of the injury was “minor,” the source said.

Jeffery missed four games with a broken bone in his hand. He returned against the 49ers with two catches for 15 yards on the season, the second-round pick has 16 catches for 199 yards and two touchdowns.
