Help Chicago get early 'One Direction' film screening

ONE DIRECTION MANIA: It’s likely “One Direction: This Is Us,” the 3D film about the British boy band, directed by noted documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock (“Super Size Me,” “ The Greatest Movie Ever Sold”) will be a big hit when it opens Aug. 30 — considering the enormous built-in fan base for the hot group.

However, Chicago “One D” superfans could possibly win a chance to see the movie three days earlier — if they end up among the top 50 locations with the highest volume of requests for that special screening. Sony Pictures has teamed up with the Tugg crowd-sourced events platform Tugg to create this opportunity for those fans wild for Niall, Zayn, Liam, Harry and Louis — to see the movie ahead of most others. To help put Our Town in that Top 50 go to 1DThisIsUs.tugg.com.
