COWELL CONFESSES: After weeks of dodging the press and avoiding commenting on his impending fatherhood, Simon Cowell has confirmed that he has fathered the baby Lauren Silverman is carrying. She is the estranged wife of Cowell’s longtime best buddy, financier Andrew Silverman. That former couple’s divorce agreement reportedly has finally been hammered out.

Cowell told the BBC that fatherhood is “something I hadn’t though of before, but now I know I feel good about it. Things are changing in my life right now, for the better.”
