A man was shot multiple times Monday afternoon in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood on the Northwest Side.
The 18-year-old man was walking in the 4800 block of West George Street about 1:20 p.m. when he heard shots ring out and realized he’d been struck, said police News Affairs Officer Ana Pacheco said.
The man suffered two gunshot wounds to the right arm and one to the back, Pacheco said. He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was listed in “stable” condition.
