Man attempts to sexually assault woman on Near North Side

Police are searching for a man who tried to sexually assault a woman in a Near North Side alley more than a week ago.

The woman was attacked in an alley in the 1200 block of North Dearborn Street, between Clark and Dearborn, about 1:45 a.m. on June 21, according to a community alert from Area Central detectives.

The suspect is described as a 5-foot-4, 135-pound Hispanic man with black short-slicked hair and a dark complexion. He was wearing a black short-sleeve, button-down shirt with a gold logo on the upper chest and black slacks.
