Teen shot in Brighton Park

A teenage boy was shot early Saturday in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 17-year-old boy suffered a gunshot wound to the ankle about 12:30 a.m. near West 44th Street and South Fairfield Avenue, police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.
