Jim Sacluti, 38, was arrested Friday at O’Hare after authorities were notified by Homeland Security that he was at the airport waiting for a flight to Tokyo, according to a statement from the Cook County sheriff’s office.

In 2013, Sacluti contacted a woman about becoming her pimp after seeing her advertise services on Backpage.com, according to the statement. He then took money he thought came from prostitution by the woman.

However, the woman was a Cook County sheriff’s officer, according to the statement.

Officers went to arrest Sacluti at his home in the 6000 block of North Sauganash and learned he had fled to the Philippines, according to the statement. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Sacluti appeared in court Saturday and was ordered held without bond, according to the statement. He is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
