Elderly who went missing from Des Plaines found safe

A 78-year-old man who went missing Tuesday afternoon from his retirement home in northwest suburban Des Plaines has been found safe.

Roger D. Albanese was last seen by staff at Asbury Court Retirement Home at 1750 S. Elmhurst Rd. on Tuesday afternoon. He was reported missing by a family member on Saturday, according to a missing person alert.

Police said Tuesday morning Albanese had been found safe.
