Daytime lane closures at the intersection of Joliet and Willow Springs Roads in west suburban Countryside are scheduled for Wednesday for traffic signal work.

Workers will install new traffic signal equipment and LED signal heads. The project will be completed in summer 2016, according to a statement from the Illinois Department of Transportation.

Drivers can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area, according to the statement.
