An autopsy for a woman found dead on the Kenilworth station platform of Metra’s Union Pacific North line Friday evening did not immediately rule on her cause and manner of death.

Megan Davy, 58, was found lying on the platform just before 7 p.m. Friday, according to Metra spokesman Tom Miller and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.

At about 11:30 p.m. Friday, Kenilworth police said in a statement that the body “had apparently been struck by a train.”

Davy was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:52 p.m., according to the medical examiner’s office. An autopsy Saturday did not rule on Davy’s cause and manner of death pending further studies.

Kenilworth police continue to investigate the incident.
