SHARE 59-year-old man reported missing from North Center

Police are searching for a 59-year-old man who suffers from schizophrenia and hypertension, and is missing from the Belmont Crossing Nursing Home in the North Center neighborhood.

Rufus Scates walked out of the nursing home where he lives on the 1900 block of West Belmont Avenue on Tuesday.

Scates is described as a 5-foot-9, 209-pound black man with brown eyes, black hair and medium complexion.
