Glenview man killed in Norwood Park rollover crash

A north suburban man was killed in a rollover crash early Tuesday in the Norwood Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

David Younan, 20, was driving an SUV northbound and speeding in the 6100 block of North Elston at 3:03 a.m. when his vehicle struck a barrier, rolled over, then struck a fast food restaurant fence and light pole, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Younan, of the 600 block of Spring Road in Glenview, was pronounced dead at the scene a few minutes later, authorities said.

No one else was injured in the crash, police said. He was the only person in the vehicle.
