16-year-old girl reported missing from Garfield Ridge

Police are searching for a 16-year-old girl who went missing from Garfield Ridge neighborhood home on the Southwest Side for nearly two weeks.

Nicole Mahon, who also goes by “Cole,” has been missing since Nov. 17 from the 5000 block of South Leamington, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

She is described as a 5-foot-1, 123-pound black girl with black hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion, police said. She was last seen wearing a pink North Face hooded sweatshirt with blue and white writing and purple and white gym shoes. She may also be wearing gray moccasins and carrying a black-and-white floral book bag.

Police said Nicole hangs out in the Gage Park area.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call Area Central detectives at (312) 747-8380 or 911.
