SUV crashes into paving machine on LSD

An SUV crashed into a paving machine on North Lake Shore Drive on the Near North Side early Monday.

A 26-year-old woman was driving an SUV southbound in the 800 block of North Lake Shore Drive when her vehicle collided with a road paving truck about 2 a.m, according to Chicago Police.

Police said the Chicago Fire Department was at the scene, but there did not appear to be any serious injuries.

The Chicago resident was cited for failing to stay in her own lane and failing to wear a seatbelt, police said.
