14-year-old girl missing from Washington Park

Police are searching for a 14-year-old girl who is missing from the South Side Washington Park neighborhood.

Jonell Anderson, who sometimes goes by “Joney,” has been missing since Monday from the 6000 block of South Michigan, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

Jonell is described as a 5-foot-2, 95-pound black girl with black hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion, police said. She typically wears a pink coat, blue jeans and yellow, green and blue Nike gym shoes.

Police said she may be in the neighborhood of 75th and Stewart.
