A man was shot Friday night in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The man, 22, was walking on the sidewalk in the 3300 block of West Chicago about 10:45 p.m. when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the right foot, according to Chicago Police.

He later walked into Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member.
