A body was pulled out of Lake Michigan Sunday morning near north suburban Waukegan.

Fire crews were dispatched about 10:30 a.m. Saturday to help officers search for a missing person on Municipal Beach, 201 N. Sea Horse Drive, according to the Waukegan Fire Department. The search was called off after two hours due to weather conditions.

About 9 a.m., divers began searching the beach’s harbor channel using sonar technology, the fire department said. They located and recovered the body about two hours later.

As of Sunday afternoon, the person hadn’t been identified. The Lake County Coroner’s Office was conducting an autopsy.

The two were identified as Marisa Dister, 46, and Russell O’Connor, 44, who were found at a residence in the 300 block of West 12th Street, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. A gun was recovered near their bodies.
The former couple noted that deciding where to settle down contributed to their decision to go their separate ways.
Joey Miller, 25, was arrested Thursday and now faces three felony charges: first-degree attempted murder, home invasion and aggravated battery, police said.
Larry Walker, 37 and of the Humboldt Park neighborhood, is facing charges for attempted murder and aggravated battery, police said.
