Two men died Thursday after a vehicle crashed into two parked cars in south suburban University Park.

Philip Radloff, 72, of Homewood, was driving a Dodge Journey west on Dralle Road when he drove through a stop sign about 3 p.m. at Central Avenue and crashed into a parked car, according to University Park police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

The parked vehicle, occupied by James Pavesich, 62, of Tinley Park, was pushed into another vehicle, authorities said.

Pavesich was pinned in the seat of the parked car and pronounced dead at 4 p.m. in University Park, police and the Will County coroner’s office said. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.

Radloff was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he died at 6:20 p.m., the medical examiner’s office said. An autopsy released Friday found he died of injuries from the crash. His death was ruled accidental.

A male in the second parked car was conscious and walking when he was taken to a hospital for treatment, police said.
