A 3-year-old girl and a woman were hit by a vehicle Saturday in Humboldt Park on the West Side.

The pair were crossing the street about 4:45 p.m. when a Toyota making a right from Grand Avenue onto Pulaski Road hit both of them, Chicago police said.

Both were taken to Stroger Hospital, where the toddler was in fair condition and the woman, 27, was in good condition, police said.

The driver of the Toyota, an 18-year-old man, was cited for not having a valid driver’s license or insurance, police said. He was also cited with two counts each of operating an uninsured vehicle and not exercising due care with a pedestrian in the roadway.
