Motorcycle crash kills man in unincorporated Woodstock

About 7:10 p.m. a 40-year-old man was driving a 2006 Harley-Davidson motorcycle west in the 13000 block of Pleasant Valley Road, when for an unknown reason he veered off the road and crashed into a utility pole.

A 40-year-old man was killed Friday in a motorcycle crash in unincorporated Woodstock.

About 7:10 p.m. the 40-year-old was driving a 2006 Harley-Davidson motorcycle west in the 13000 block of Pleasant Valley Road, when for an unknown reason he veered off the road and crashed into a utility pole, McHenry County sheriffs said.

The man was ejected from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

An investigation is ongoing.
