DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.
In the afternoon, the President and Vice President will have lunch at the White House with the Democratic and Republican leaders in both houses of Congress to discuss ongoing efforts to find common ground on legislative priorities that will create jobs and strengthen America’s economy. The lunch in the Private Dining Room is closed press.
In the evening, the President and First Lady will host a dinner at the White House to honor our Armed Forces who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn and to honor their families. This dinner–an expression of the nation’s gratitude for the achievements and enormous sacrifices of the brave Americans who served in the Iraq War and of the families who supported them–will include men and women in uniform from all ranks, services, states and backgrounds, representative of the many thousands of Americans who served in Iraq. The Vice President and Dr. Biden will also attend. There will be pooled press coverage of the President’s remarks in the East Room.
