WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama on Friday meets with his cabinet and hosts a lunch – the first since the Republicans won control of the Senate – with GOP and Democratic congressional leaders.

In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

Later in the morning, the President will hold a Cabinet Meeting in the Cabinet Room. The Vice President will also attend. There will be a pool spray at the top of the meeting.

In the afternoon, the President and the Vice President will host the bipartisan, bicameral leadership of Congress for a lunch meeting at the White House. There will be a pool spray at the top of this meeting in the Old Family Dining Room.
