Duckworth raises $425,504 in 2nd quarter: $1.36 million warchest

WASHINGTON — Rep. Tammy Duckworth D-Ill. raised $425,504 in the second quarter ending June 30 and has $1.36 million in cash-on-hand as the freshman heads towards a November re-election against a little-known Republican, Larry Kaifesh. Kaifesh has not yet released second quarter figures or filed a report with the Federal Election Commission.

The filing deadline is midnight Tuesday. Duckworth and Kaifesh are running for the northwest suburban Illinois 8th congressional district seat.
