WASHINGTON —Rep. Tammy Duckworth D-Ill. raised$425,504 in the second quarter ending June 30 and has$1.36 million in cash-on-hand as the freshmanheads towards a November re-election against a little-known Republican, Larry Kaifesh. Kaifesh has not yet released second quarter figuresorfiled a report with the Federal Election Commission.

The filing deadline is midnight Tuesday. Duckworth and Kaifesh are running for the northwest suburban Illinois 8th congressional districtseat.
