Note to Harry Reid: Clarence Thomas isn't white

While Senate Democrats say they’re pushing legislation to override the Supreme Court’s ruling allowing some companies to opt out of the contraceptives requirement of the health care law, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid lashed out Tuesday, saying the ruling is “outrageous.”

He also said that it’s up to the Senate to make sure “women’s lives are not determined by virtue of five white men.”

The only problem? One of the men on the Supreme Court who sided with Hobby Lobby in the 5-4 decision was Justice Clarence Thomas, who obviously isn’t white.

The other four who agreed with Thomas were Chief Justice John Roberts, Justice Antonin Scalia, Justice Anthony Kennedy and Justice Samuel Alito.
