Friends and colleagues of Shia LaBeouf are urging the actor — who has frequently exhibited unnerving and often frightening behavior — to check himself into treatment, both for substance abuse and anger management.

The latest incident was a fight between LaBeouf and his girlfriend Mia Goth that started Friday in a nightclub in Tubingen, Germany. The actor was caught on video outside the club arguing with Goth, who later was seen to have a black eye. It is not confirmed if that was an injury inflicted on her by LaBeouf, who is known to have a very short temper.

He is recorded later, in a car driven by fans who picked him up, as saying he “would have killed” Goth if people had not separated them. Goth departed the scene in a taxi, and neither she nor LaBeouf’s team had commented on the incident as of Monday afternoon.

On the video, which has since gone viral, LaBeouf is seen saying to Goth before she leaves, “I don’t wanna touch you. I don’t wanna be aggressive. This is the kind of s— that makes a person abusive.”

Later in the video, he’s seen saying, “I don’t want to touch a woman. I don’t want to hit a woman. But I’m being pushed.”
