A 32-year-old man was shot during a robbery Saturday evening in the Longwood Manor neighborhood on the Far South Side.

Just after 6 p.m., the man was shot in the thigh during a robbery in the 1300 block of West 97th Place, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park, where his condition was stabilized, police said. He was later transferred to Stroger Hospital.
