A man was found shot late Monday in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 35-year-old was found at 11:44 p.m. suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg on the sidewalk in the 700 block of North Trumbull, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken in serious condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.
