SHARE App teaches kindergartners basic computer coding

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — This computer programming app is so easy to use that even a kindergartener can do it.

Researchers in Massachusetts have created a basic computer coding app that they say is the first designed specifically for children as young as 5. Kids who haven’t yet learned to read can use the app to craft their own interactive stories and games.

The woman, 21, and the 15-year-old boy were shot about 9:20 p.m. in the 9300 block of South Bishop Street, police said.
The boy was struck as he stood on a sidewalk about 10 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Sawyer Avenue.
In addition to the girl, two boys, ages 1 and 7, were each shot multiple times. Five adults were also wounded.
