Two people found shot to death in Ford Heights home

(FORD HEIGHTS) Cook County Sheriff’s deputies are conducting a homicide investigation after two people were found shot to death inside a south suburban home Friday evening.

About 5:25 p.m., someone visiting the home in the 1400 block of Regent Lane in Ford Heights flagged down police officers after finding a man and woman dead with multiple gunshot wounds, according to Cook County Sheriff’s office spokeswoman Sophia Ansari.

Mchezo A. McMillan, 38, who lived in the same block, and 21-year-old Ashley Hudson, of the 1200 block of West Birch in Homewood, were both pronounced dead at the scene, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. An autopsy Saturday found that they both died from multiple gunshot wounds, and their deaths were ruled homicides.
