Dold, Bost in Washington for orientation; Dold meeting with Kirk

WASHINGTON — Rep.-elect Bob Dold, R-Ill., returning to Congress after beating Rep. Brad Schneider, D-Ill., earlier this month for the 10th congressional district seat, is meeting this afternoon with Sen. Mark Kirk R-Ill., along with James Slepian, who was Dold’s campaign manager.

Dold gets a leg up on newly elected freshmen because he served one term. Dold and Rep.-elect Mike Bost R-Ill, who defeated Rep. Bill Enyart D-Ill. are here for orientation sessions and to organize their offices.
