Jason Lentz, 39, of the 1400 block of Firethorn Street in Bolingbrook, was charged with indecent solicitation of a child and grooming, according to a statement from the Will County state’s attorney’s office.

An investigation was launched after a concerned mother contacted the state’s attorney’s office regarding inappropriate texting conversations, officials said.

The Bolingbrook Raiders soccer club coach was having “inappropriate text message conversations of a sexual nature” with someone he believed was a minor, officials said.

However, the state’s attorney’s High Technology Crimes Unit had taken over the minor’s text messaging account during a month-long investigation.

Bond was set for Lentz at $250,000 on Monday, officials said. He must not have contact with the Bolingbrook Raiders or anyone under 18, and cannot use the Internet except for work purposes.
