Coming off a double-overtime victory a day earlier, the Huntley girls basketball team expected another tightly contested game Tuesday against Neuqua Valley in the Montini Christmas Tournament fifth-place game.

The Red Raiders and Wildcats exchanged leads nine times in the second half Tuesday, but Huntley took the final lead after a 3-pointer from Kayla Barreto with 2:45 remaining in the fourth en route to a 47-44 victory at Montini High School.

The 5-foot-3 junior guard finished with 12 points, hitting all four 3-pointers for the Raiders (10-4) and giving her team the lead three times in the second half – and once in the first half.
