After five weeks of the season, IHSA.org has compiled a breakdown of what each class from 1A to 8A would look like if the regular season ended today. Top seeds include, from the largest to the smallest classes:

8A: Loyola

7A: Mount Carmel

6A: Kaneland

5A: Sycamore

4A: Rochester

3A: Aurora Christian

2A: Elmwood-Brimfield Coop

1A: Tri-Valley
