Police are asking the public’s help to find an elderly man who went missing from the South Side Kenwood neighborhood Wednesday.

John Spivery, 84, was last seen Wednesday in the 4500 block of South Drexel Boulevard, Area Central detectives said in an alert.

He also may be in the 4300 block of South Evans Avenue, police said.

Spivery is described as a 5-foot-11, 215-pound black man with brown eyes, police said. He is bald and has a medium complexion.

He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a red Chicago Blackhawks sweatshirt, brown pants and brown moccasins, police said.

Anyone with information on Spivery’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact detectives at (312) 747-8380.
