Police are asking the public’s help locating a 15-year-old girl who has been missing from the West Garfield Park neighborhood since Friday morning.

Destiny Jones left her home in the 4200 block of West Wilcox about 7 a.m. Friday and has not returned, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police. She has reportedly been upset with her family because they would not let her have a boyfriend.

Jones is described as a 5-foot-5, 95-pound black girl with brown eyes, black hair and a dark complexion, police said. She was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, a blue blouse, black and brown striped pants and black Air Force One gym shoes. She was also carrying a pink backpack with black stripes.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Area North Special Victims Unit at (312) 744-8261.
