Police: Man pistol-whipped, shot in West Englewood domestic incident

A man was shot in the hand after he was pistol-whipped during a “domestic-related” incident in West Englewood Monday night.

About 8:50 p.m., the 34-year-old man was hit in the head with a gun in the 2000 block of West 68th Place, police said. After he was hit, the gun went off and he was shot in the hand.

Police said the incident was “domestic-related.”The man was taken to Holy Cross Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, police said.
