Boy, 16, shot on Far South Side

A 16-year-old boy was shot on the Far South Side Tuesday night.

At 8:17 p.m., the teen was walking in the 13100 block of South St. Lawrence when three unknown males walked up to him, police said.

After an “altercation,” one of the three shot the teen in the left leg, police said.

His condition and hospital information was not immediately available.
