Chicago store sells $16M lottery ticket

A store in the Loop sold a ticket worth more than $16 million in Thursday night’s lottery drawing, although the winner has yet to come forward.

The Quick Pick ticket matched all six numbers in Thursday’s drawing—07-19-22-47-48-49—for a jackpot of $16,250,000, according to a statement from the Illinois Lottery. It was sold at 111 Lobby Shop at 111 W. Monroe St.

The store will receive a bonus of $162,500, or 1 percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket, the lottery said.
