A 63-year-old man was fatally shot Saturday night in Gary, Indiana.

Edwin Deloney was found dead about 7:50 p.m. in the 1500 block of Tennessee Street in Gary, according to a statement from the Lake County coroner’s office. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deloney, who lived where he was shot, died from multiple gun shot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide, the coroner’s office said.
