DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

MONDAY, JANUARY 26, 2015

In the morning, the President will participate in the Indian Republic Day celebration as the Chief Guest. The First Lady will also attend. This event is open to pre-credentialed media.

In the afternoon, the President will meet with Congress Party Leaders at ITC Maurya Hotel. This meeting is closed press.

Later in the afternoon, the President and First Lady will attend a reception with President Pranab Mukherjee. There will be travel pool coverage of this reception at Rashtrapati Bhawan.

In the evening, the President will participate in a CEO roundtable at the Taj Palace Hotel with Prime Minister Modi and deliver remarks at a U.S.-India business summit. There will be a travel pool spray at the bottom of the roundtable, and the President’s remarks are open to pre-credentialed media.

The President and First Lady will remain overnight in New Delhi.
